About Dr. Kirk

Dr. Kirk has a vast array of interests starting from his completion of a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Virginia in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Computer Science. Worked previously as a software engineer working on patient-directed information systems as a subcontractor for the Depart of Defense.  He graduated medical school from the Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine. Completed an Intern year in General Surgery at the University of Colorado, and transitioned to primary care with training in Family Medicine at VCU - Fairfax Family Practice. Additionally, has research publications on vestibular electrophysiology in animal models from the University of Colorado.


His clinical interests include behavioral health, acute care, and working towards better health through small incremental lifestyle changes.  Working with patients through a better understanding of their health as well as medical treatment. Dr. Kirk’s passion is driven by the bonds he builds with his patients and the enjoyment he holds in keeping them healthy and well.
